Extremely Frugal Pie Crust

An easy piecrust.
Ingredient1 9-inch1 tart
Flour1 C1/4 C
Salt1/2 tsp1/8 tsp
Lard1/3 C1 Tbsp
Water2 Tbsp1 1/2 tsp


Stir salt and flour together. Cut in lard or shortening until fine. Sprinkle water onto flour 1 tablespoon at a time.
Mix lightly with a fork until moist.
Gather dough together, pressing into a ball.
Roll out 1/8 inch thick.


FlourCrusts
1/4 C flour = 1 tart
1/2 C flour = 1 6 in2 tart
3/4 C flour = 1 8 in
1 C flour = 1 9 in2 6 in
1 1/2 C flour = 2 8 in
2 C flour = 2 9 in
